Anais Maria Paniagua is a children’s author and speaker, whose mission is simple: help children walk in truth and courage.

Raised in the Bronx with Dominican roots and now based in Texas, Anais brings a unique blend of cultural richness, real-life experience, and heart-centered wisdom to her work. Her debut children’s book, Wait! I’ve Got Something to Say, was created to give kids a gentle roadmap for identifying body cues, understanding emotions, and building confidence in themselves.

As a mom, entrepreneur, veteran, and community leader, Anais understands firsthand how important it is for children to feel seen, heard, and supported. Her approach blends storytelling with simple emotional tools—making it easy for families, educators, and counselors to start meaningful conversations that build safety and resilience.

When she’s not writing, Anais leads operations at Doña Maria -Dominican Cuisine, the restaurant she co-owns with her mother in Irving, TX. Through this work, she brings her commitment to culture, excellence, and community into the food space: mentoring young staff, supporting local families, and creating a place where people feel at home.
